I reckon I was a love addict once... then I found someone who cured my addiction! Unlike the celebrities I learnt from my time in rehab

I don't think I am a love addict, although I'd like a male friend after all of these years. Too many other things happening put any thoughts of love on the back burner.
I was obsessed with someone for a while, but that disappeared all too quickly when I had some serious problems to contend with.
He was not worth the trouble and the rose coloured glasses were on for far too long. I can't see myself ever being so foolish again.

I think in our younger days, many of us were a little "over the top" in a relationship.

I think that living and learning makes believers out of us. I notice that as I get older I get pickier and my BS meter is highly calibrated.
