I have never understood why people stay in relationships where things are falling apart. Sure work on it, try and fix things - everyone goes through their problems, but we all know that point where nothing is working - so why not move on?
And if someone does not want to be with you why would you force them to? I had a friend like that and no matter what you said to him he just could not understand - in the end he was left looking like a fool and did himself more harm than good.
I find it extremely sad that people need other people to make themselves happy.
