I realized early on that nothing I have done —not one single thing—did I truly do all by myself. My friends have taught me so many life lessons.. like tolerance, and kindness ,and the value of temperance, and that anything was possible, given two people with the right attitudes and enough time.

My friends give me what is beautiful, what is hard to give., do what is hard to do and endure what is hard to endure. They reveal their secrets to me and trust that I will keep them. When misfortune strikes, they do not abandon me. When I feel down, they do not look down on me.

I am so grateful that I have friends who love love love me and let me know every day. I love love love them and I remind them of that fact every chance I get

So true... so true ... of all the assets accumulated over the years, next to my own family, my friends must surely remain the brightest gems amongst them all... even my enemies are precious in reflecting the dark side of me that I can recognise and *fix* thanks to them being there ....

My friends have seen me through some rough patches in my life, I don't know how I would've done it without them. I love the laughs, memories and new experiences with them.

I have come to accept that the majority of friends in my life are transient. They are part of my life, at that time, because I need them based on where I am at. Then they move on, or I do. There is a grieving period, but it's okay. Then there are are the precious view who are with you for a lifetime. You may not see them for months, years even, but when you do reconnect, it's like it was yesterday that you last were together.
